

Workshop on Research Design and Methodology - Master of Medical Statistics Degree Program
The morning session was conducted by Senior Prof. Upali Chandrasekara who detailed how to construct the research design for a specific topic. He elaborated the process of formulating a research question and effectively collecting data through variable identification and accurate sampling techniques.
The evening session was conducted by Dr. B.J.C. Perera who descriptively elaborated about Research publishing and how and to where a researcher must pay attention in preparing a good article for publication.
Participants gained valuable opportunities to learn from and engage in discussions with experienced researchers in the field. The event met with success, which was made possible by the dedicated contributions of both academic and non-academic staff.
