Inauguration of the First-Ever Master of Medical Statistics Program in Sri Lanka
The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Kelaniya marked a significant milestone on the 25th of August 2024, with the inauguration of Sri Lanka's first-ever Master of Medical Statistics Program. The event, held at the prestigious “Cosmic” by Citrus, Lotus Tower in Colombo and was graced by a distinguished gathering of academics, officials from the ministry of health, healthcare professionals, and university officials.

Workshop on Research Design and Methodology - Master of Medical Statistics Degree Program
The Faculty of The Master of Medical Statistics Degree Program, in collaboration with the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Kelaniya, successfully conducted a workshop on Research Design and Methodology. The workshop, held on May 4th, 2025, at the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya with the guidance of Coordinator Dr. U.P. Liyanage, Technical Coordinator Mr. Viraj Weerawickrama and Deputy Registrar Faculty of Graduate Studies /Secretary Board of Study in Multidisciplinary Studies Mr. S.L. Wijeratne.
