We are pleased to inform you that the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, is organizing the International Conference on Business and Information (ICBI) 2023 for the 14th consecutive year on November 09th and 10th, 2023, as an onsite conference at the university. The ICBI opens many opportunities for academia and practitioners to share their research findings with a diverse audience in different formats.
One such key event of the ICBI is the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition which takes place for the 3rd consecutive year.
What is this Three Minute Thesis Competition?
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, for research students and is now held in over 900 universities across more than 85 countries worldwide.
Who are eligible to participate in the Three Minute Thesis Competition of ICBI 2023?
Confirmed higher degree research candidates i.e., Proposal submitted and approved by the university you have registered to do the Ph.D., DBA, and MPhil students in any subject discipline (e.g., Management, Medicine, Nursing, Information and Communication Technology, or any other discipline)
How can you compete in the Three Minute Thesis Competition?
Present your doctoral/M.Phil. research in a language appropriate to an intelligent non-specialist audience in just three minutes using only one PowerPoint slide.
